What are the pigs fed?
The pigs are fed a prepared feed made of corn, soybeans and various minerals and vitamins to ensure they receive proper nutrition to grow and thrive.
During the grazing season they have access to outdoors and pature where they can root up
What cuts are included?
The buk pork packages include a mix of sausage, bacon, pork chops, smoked ham and shoulder roasts
How do I get the product?
Orders can be picked up at the farm or delivered to your door
Do you use artificial hormones?
We do not use artificial hormones
What breed are the pigs?
We buy in young pigs from some of our partners who have a mix of different breeds of sows.
Generally we have a mix of Berkshire, Large Black and Tamworth pigs.
Do you butcher on the farm?
All slaughtering and butchering is done at provincially licenced facilities
Is the meat fresh or frozen?
Our products are flash frozen at the processor to lock in freshness
How much freezer space doesit require?
